Spiritual Strength + Physical Strength = Freedom Yoga

​Classes at Freedom Yoga focus on purifying the body, calming the mind and opening the heart.
By integrating a strong and stable physical practice with a spiritual practice that includes breath work and mindfulness techniques, our classes are truly a combination of body, mind, heart and soul.

SUNDAYS  


10:00 - 11:30 AM  Hatha Fundamentals (all levels) with Kelsey Britton
This class is for those who want a skilled foundation and complete practice.  Students use mindfulness, respect, and alignment to develop strength, stamina, and resiliency of body and spirit. Classes are built to allow students to build confidence in their practice and in their bodies and minds.   Appropriate for all levels.

MONDAYS 

10:00 - 11:30 AM: Vinyasa Flow (level I-II) with Emily Ridout
This class uses Hatha yoga techniques – mindfulness, breath, and physical poses – to move at a moderate pace through a series of innovative sun salutations.  The content offers both a challenge and relaxation that will invigorate your mornings and help you make your intention for your practice and your day.  Appropriate for all levels, with some yoga experience.

10:00 - 11:30 AM  Hatha Fundamentals (level I) with Toby Schaid
This class is for those who want a skilled foundation and complete practice.  Students use mindfulness, respect, and alignment to develop strength, stamina, and resiliency of body and spirit. Classes are built to allow students to build confidence in their practice and in their bodies and minds.

This class is for those who want a skilled foundation and complete practice.  Students use mindfulness, respect, and alignment to develop strength, stamina, and resiliency of body and spirit. Classes are built to allow students to build confidence in their practice and in their bodies and minds.   Appropriate for all levels. 

12:30 - 1:45 PM Gentle Yoga for Every Body (chair assisted yoga) with Tara Jones
These classes are a gentle practice designed to be accessible to people of all ages and abilities.  The class teaches gentle mindful movement to increase breath awareness, joint range of motion, flexibility, core strength and relaxation. Appropriate for all levels and no yoga experience is necessary. Chair Assisted Yoga is for those who can get up and down from the floor either on their own or with the help of a chair. This class includes Chair Yoga as described above and also postures on the floor.

5:10 - 6:10 PM: Meditation with Tara Jones
Reduce stress. Lower your blood pressure. Meditate regularly. Change your life. 


6:30 - 8:00 PM: Hatha Yoga (level II-III) with Michele Bulgatz
This class is a vigorous asana class that brings together sacred practices to build physical and spiritual strength and the freedom to be your amazing self! All with the support of a dedicated community.

FRIDAYS 

7:00 - 8:00 AM: Yoga & Core Strengthening Cardio with Lou Lynner
A class with a dynamic yoga warm up, a body weight only strengthening portion, with a focus on functional core strength. ​


10:00 - 11:15 AM: Beginning Hatha Yoga (beginners) with Kathleen Tyson
This class is an introduction to yoga.  We will meet you at your ability level to strengthen, align, and encourage the development of body/mind awareness in a non-competitive atmosphere of acceptance.  Appropriate for all beginners.

12:30 - 1:45 PM: Hatha Yoga  (levels I) with Julia Carr
Empowering techniques to explore our limits with inspiration and playfulness. A strength-building, stress-relieving class that can help improve symptoms of back, neck and knee pain, build the core, and melt away tension from the week. This class has a moderate pace with your choice to bolster the challenge or ease into grace! 

5:30 - 6:45 PM: Hatha Yoga for Strength & Flexibility (levels I-II) with Emily Ridout 
Invigorating, accessible classes designed to encourage students to strengthen their bodies and stretch their minds.  Each class is unique and includes a focus on alignment and breath.  Appropriate for all levels, with some yoga experience.

In Partner Yoga we will be working to develop trust both within ourselves and each other.  Together, exploring ways of being, we can allow for growing and strengthening this vessel full of Shakti we know as our bodies.

This class is for students who seek a deep experience of relaxation and renewal. Each class provides an opportunity to deeply nourish the mind, body and spirit through gentle movement, breathing techniques, guided relaxation known as Yoga Nidra, restorative postures and a skillful use of props to safely encourage opening and expansion from the body's deep center.
