Students use mindfulness, respect, and alignment to develop strength, stamina, and resiliency of body and spirit. Classes are built to allow students to build confidence in their practice and in their bodies and minds. The content offers both a challenge and relaxation that will invigorate your mornings and help you make your intention for your practice and your day. Appropriate for all levels. 12:30 - 1:45 PM Gentle Yoga for Every Body (chair assisted yoga) with Tara Jones These classes are a gentle practice designed to be accessible to people of all ages and abilities. The class teaches gentle mindful movement to increase breath awareness, joint range of motion, flexibility, core strength and relaxation. Appropriate for all levels and no yoga experience is necessary. Chair Assisted Yoga is for those who can get up and down from the floor either on their own or with the help of a chair. This class includes Chair Yoga as described above and also postures on the floor. 5:10 - 6:10 PM: Meditation with Tara Jones Reduce stress. Lower your blood pressure. Meditate regularly. Change your life. 6:30 - 8:00 PM: Hatha Yoga (level II-III) with Michele Bulgatz This class is a vigorous asana class that brings together sacred practices to build physical and spiritual strength and the freedom to be your amazing self! We will meet you at your ability level to strengthen, align, and encourage the development of body/mind awareness in a non-competitive atmosphere of acceptance. Appropriate for all beginners. 12:30 - 1:45 PM: Hatha Yoga (levels I) with Julia Carr Empowering techniques to explore our limits with inspiration and playfulness. A strength-building, stress-relieving class that can help improve symptoms of back, neck and knee pain, build the core, and melt away tension from the week.
