It does not involve concentration, controlling of the mind, or other forms of effortful manipulation of the mind. It does not require you have any beliefs, any previous study or specific background in order to learn it and practice it. Great benefits grow for all who learn. For this reason, it is a practice that everyone can learn.

Sandy is honored and happy to now offer initiation into Neelakantha Meditation.
Private Instruction usually look like this:
A Saturday from 9:30 am to 11:30 group and one individual hour in the afternoon
A Sunday 10am-12, and 2-4pm or can be divided into two days
The cost is $450.00 for adults, $360.00 for Seniors and Students, $250 for 14-18 yrs. $100/ children up to 14

2 or 3-day instruction at my home studio

Sandy is a Master teacher of Meditation
Sandy has been studying and teaching Hatha Yoga and Meditation for over 48 years.
1968 – 1977 started practicing and studying meditation, yoga and modern Dance.
1977- Became a teacher of Transcendental Meditation teacher in 1977. Married William Adler
1991 Siddha Yoga Meditation, tantric texts, philosophy teacher and studied deep tantric texts.
1998 She practiced then became an Anusara Yoga teacher in 2007.
2000 Sandy taught yoga and meditation at the University of Oregon for 12 years,
2007 started Freedom Yoga in Eugene, OR teaching numerous workshops and teacher trainings I
2008 she began study with Paul Muller Ortega and is one of his senior most students and teachers.
She has a BA from University of New Hampshire, Taught modern dance at Johnson State College in Vermont, studied sacred dance in the Himalayas in 1973, and earned an MFA Modern Dance from UCLA in 1976. She then married William Adler in 1977. They have 3 children, Luke, Brent, and Shane, and a granddaughter and own Will Leather Goods a successful international wholesale/retail business that manufactures belts, bags and home goods.
