TARA JONES

Tara Jones has been a certified yoga teacher since 1990 when she trained at the Kripalu Yoga Ashram.  She recently completed the 200 RYT yoga teacher training at Freedom Yoga, deepening her commitment to the art of teaching.  

Tara teaches truly from the heart inspiring her students to deepen their own connection to their highest selves.  Off the mat, Tara can be found at her home at Unity Farm Retreat Center in Fall Creek where she lives happily with goats, sheep, kitties and Ellie, the Golden Retriever.  

She is deeply grateful to all the teachers she has had over the years, but in particular to Sandy Adler and Michele Bulgatz for being a continuing source of inspiration.

12:30 - 1:45 PM Gentle Yoga for Every Body (chair yoga) 
These classes are a gentle practice designed to be accessible to people of all ages and abilities.  The class teaches gentle mindful movement to increase breath awareness, joint range of motion, flexibility, core strength and relaxation. Appropriate for all levels and no yoga experience is necessary.  All practices are done in a chair and for those who are able and interested, standing up using th

and Wednesdays for: 
10:00 - 11:30 AM: Restorative (gentle) with Tara Jones
This class is for students who seek a deep experience of relaxation and renewal. Each class provides an opportunity to deeply nourish the mind, body and spirit through gentle movement, breathing techniques, guided relaxation known as Yoga Nidra, restorative postures and a skillful use of props to safely encourage opening and expansion from the body's deep center. Restorative Yoga is a rejuvenating respite from the stresses of everyday life.  Appropriate for all levels and no yoga experience is necessary.

5:30 - 6:45 PM: Beginning Hatha Yoga (beginners)
This class is an introduction to yoga.  We will meet you at your ability level to strengthen, align, and encourage the development of body/mind awareness in a non-competitive atmosphere of acceptance.  Appropriate for all beginners.

and Thursdays for: 
12:30 - 1:45 PM Gentle Yoga for Every Body (chair assisted yoga) 
These classes are a gentle practice designed to be accessible to people of all ages and abilities.  The class teaches gentle mindful movement to increase breath awareness, joint range of motion, flexibility, core strength and relaxation. Appropriate for all levels and no yoga experience is necessary. Chair Assisted Yoga is for those who can get up and down from the floor either on their own or with the help of a chair. This class includes Chair Yoga as described above and also postures on the floor.

5:10 - 6:10 PM: Meditation 
Reduce stress. Lower your blood pressure. Meditate regularly. Change your life.
